Fireworks and Thunderstorms

So yesterday, my friend and I went down to the beach to go watch the fireworks. And all day it had been sunny and boiling hot. Once we got down to the beach it started to cool off, which was OK. It was actually rather nice. And then it started to rain. Just a little bit so we decided we would tough it out and still watch the fireworks. The rain let up for a little while, but then it came back; accompanied by THUNDER and LIGHTNING. And it started to POUR, so we bailed and went to a friend of a friend's house and played boardgames and watched the thunderstorm. It had to have lasted two or three hours and after there were blackouts in some spots. It was fun :D
